So up until recently my wifi has been working perfectly fine for my xbox. But then the servers started going down and since they've been back up I can connect to the internet on it but xbox live will not work. So I cannot play games such as modern warfare. Any answers to this problem?

Hello, am having problems with my connection to Xbox live, am trying to do a direct connection and it keeps saying that my MTU are not correct, that it requieres an MTU setting of 1364 or highter. I called Verizon and they say that they cant change it? funny thing its, some people told me that they have the same modem and theirs work fine. How come when i turn my xbox on it doesn;t connect automatically. I have to manually connect it for a few minutes first.
